I’m all about capturing the magic in the messy, beautiful, real moments. The sparks of connection, the glances, the laughter, the little things that make up this vast tapestry of life. Photography lets me bottle up a feeling and turn it into a memory you can keep forever.
I’m a documentary photographer based by the sea in Brighton. Before settling here in 2020, I grew up in London and then spent five years wandering the world. For those years I called Melbourne, Saigon, and Bali home. These days, I’m on the wild and wonderful rollercoaster of motherhood, sharing life with my husband Mark, our son Reuben, and Luna, our fiercely independent dog who found us on the streets of Bali.
I’m happiest outdoors, cloud gazing or strolling through meadows. Condiments are life (miso finds its way into almost everything I cook). When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me playing with Reuben, travelling whenever I get a chance (if you’re having a destination wedding hit me up!), or frolicking with friends and dancing in the sunshine covered in glitter.
★ I was born in Poland in the depths of winter. The hospital was closed because it was too cold, so my mum had to be driven to the next town to give birth in -20 °C.
★ When I was 4, I moved to Mykonos and stayed there for just over a year. This is where I broke my collarbone – the only time that I have broken a bone… so far!
★ I studied a Photography BA at Manchster Met uni, and graduated in 2009.
★ So far in my life I have lived in 7 different countries, and I’m not planning on stopping there.
★ In the mid-late 2000’s I did 3 seasons in Ibiza, I worked for Savannah, el Divino and Pacha.
★ I got married on the beautiful Island of Crete in 2019, just before the world locked down.
★ I’ve had many encounters with monkeys and apes – I got chased through a bush by an Orungutan, a monkey left a poo on my hotel room floor and a macaque has bitten me, and got weed on by another one on my back!
Every day in February I wear glitter — just to sprinkle a bit of magic on life.
I’ve always known I wanted to be an artist, and since picking up a camera at my Art foundation at Chelsea it’s given me the outlet that I always needed to express myself and my creativity. Since graduating, my journey has taken me through incredible adventures, commissions, and connections with people from all walks of life, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Life is built up of many small and wonderful occurrences that will go unnoticed, and it gives me great joy to record these.
