Warm & authentic Wedding Photographer in Brighton & Sussex

I document full-day celebrations in a way that feels natural, vibrant and completely you. The real kind of storytelling, the hugs, the confetti, the chaos, the quiet in-between moments, captured honestly and beautifully.

No stiff poses. No forced smiles. Just the magic that unfolds when you’re being your best, most joyful self.

If this already feels like your kind of wedding, you’re in the right place.

From morning preparations to the dance floor, I’m there to capture the energy, the emotion and the little details that make your day yours.

If you’re having a joy-filled wedding in Brighton or Sussex and want photos that feel alive, let’s see if your date is available.

A little about me

I’m Olga, a Brighton wedding photographer,  drawn to all things vibrant, fun and warm, and that’s exactly what I bring into my images, every step of the way.

My approach is mostly documentary, letting the day unfold naturally and capturing the quiet hand squeezes, the wild confetti showers, the stolen kisses, and all those moments that make your day feel electric. Now and then, I’ll add a little sprinkle of editorial magic, but really, it’s all about telling your story as it happens. So you can be fully in your day, knowing it’s all being captured as it actually felt.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me out in nature (usually up a tree or wandering through a meadow), dancing barefoot at a festival, or probably covered in glitter. I’m an Aquarius, mother, an animal lover, and always up for the next adventure.

If that sounds like your kind of thing, tell me a little about your day.

A few Brighton & Sussex Wedding Venues I know and Love

As a Brighton wedding photographer, I love venues with personality, from town hall ceremonies and seaside bandstand moments to countryside barns, beautiful gardens and old houses with a bit of drama. Brighton and Sussex are packed with brilliant places to get married, and every venue brings its own little something to the day. Here are a few places I’ve photographed and loved, with real weddings, tips and photo ideas from each one.

    Brighton Wedding Photography FAQs

Yes, I’m based in Brighton and photograph weddings across Sussex, London and beyond. So if you’re looking for a Brighton wedding photographer who knows the city, the seafront, The Lanes and all the good little portrait spots, you’re in the right place.

My approach is relaxed and very much go-with-the-flow. I predominantly shoot in a documentary style, capturing things as they actually happen, and love adding little editorial hints when the moment is right. But mainly, I’m drawn to those beautiful in-between moments

Visually, my work is colourful, warm and full of contrast. I love rich tones, natural light, movement, emotion and photos that feel alive. Think documentary storytelling with a tiny bit of editorial sparkle around the edges.

You’re spoiled for choice in Brighton of where to get some gorgeous couple portraits. But some of my favourite go-to locations are down by the seafront strolling through the pebbles, grabbing an ice cream, having a ride on the carousel, Brighton Pier, then heading in and exploring the lanes.

For weddings near Hove, I also love the Bandstand, beach huts, Hove Lawns, Brunswick Square and the West Pier. The best spot is usually the one that fits your day, your venue and your energy, whether that’s colourful and playful, quiet and romantic, or a little bit wild

I am available for micro weddings and shorter coverage, but tend to book this only midweek, unless it’s last-minute and I have a space open for that weekend.

Brighton weather has a mind of its own, but rain definitely doesn’t mean boring photos. If it showers, we’ll grab my clear umbrellas, find some good light, and if you’re up for it, head out for a little rain-soaked magic. Puddle reflections, moody skies and windswept moments can look incredible when you embrace them.

I’d love to meet you before the wedding day if we can. If you’re local to Brighton, or you’re coming down at any point before the wedding, I’m always up for a coffee and a proper chat. If that’s tricky, a video call works perfectly too. It’s just a nice chance for us to get to know each other a little before the day, so everything feels easy and familiar when I turn up with my cameras.

All your photos are edited by me, with lots of care and attention. I actually really love this part of the job, and I like having full creative control over the final gallery so everything feels consistent, colourful and true to the day. I don’t outsource my editing, so the finished images are completely in line with my style.

I’m based in Brighton but LOVE to travel, so if you’re tying the knot anywhere else I’m more than happy to come to you. I can cover expenses from Brighton to London, but for anything further afield any travel costs and accommodation required will get added to the final invoice.

I will select all the best images from the day and edit them for you so you won’t miss a moment. You will receive the high-resolution edited JPEGs as I am unable to share all my RAW files. These will then be sent to you in a shareable gallery and you will receive all edited images on a USB stick in a beautiful presentation box.

I’m naturally more drawn to the candid moments throughout the day, so I’ll give as little direction as possible and let everything unfold without too much interference from me. I want your photos to feel like your day, not a photoshoot.

The main time I’ll properly pose you is during group photos, just to keep things quick and easy. For couple portraits, I’ll give you gentle nudges and a bit of direction when needed, because let’s be honest, most of us aren’t natural-born models and a little encouragement can go a long way. The aim is always to keep it relaxed and natural.
