As a Flint House wedding photographer, one of my favourite things to do is step out into the heart of Brighton with my couples and explore all the magic the city has to offer. The Lanes and seafront are full of colour, character and those playful, unposed moments that make your wedding gallery feel alive. If you fancy sneaking off for some iconic portraits , here are a few spots I always love to explore:

★ The Lanes themselves – With colourful bunting strung overhead and quirky shop fronts at every turn, it’s the perfect mix of charm and character.

★ The beach – A stroll along the pebbles is always a winner (and yes, if you’re up for it, you can absolutely dip your toes in the sea). Brighton’s horizon at golden hour is pure magic.

★ The Royal Pavilion & Gardens – Just a short walk away, with grand architecture and lush greenery. A little oasis right in the middle of town.

★ The Afloat statue – This doughnut-shaped sculpture on the seafront groyne near Palace Pier is surprisingly photogenic. Trust me.

★ Palace Pier arcade games – For a bit of fun, grab some change and hit the slots. Share a bag of doughnuts, laugh too much, and watch out for the seagulls—they’re professional snack thieves.

★ The vintage carousel – It’s full of movement and colour, and if you’re feeling playful, hop on for a ride.
