Bore Place Wedding Photographer

so you're having a Bore Place wedding! Here's the low down on everything you need to know

Why I Love being a Bore Place Wedding Photographer

Bore Place is one of those rare gems tucked deep in the Kent countryside, 500 acres of wild woodland, rolling fields, and a soul-nourishing vibe. From the moment you arrive, you can feel the heart of this place. It’s not just a wedding venue, it’s a working, living space where people and nature can connect. Every wedding here directly supports educational programmes for young people, so as you say your vows, you’re also giving something back to the wider community.

As a Bore Place wedding photographer, I can tell you, it’s a dream to shoot here. The gardens are full of quiet corners and blooming flowers, the Jacobean manor house adds timeless character, and the spacious barn is perfect for a joyful celebration that goes into the night.

One of the best things? You won’t just have the venue for the day, you’ll have it from Friday through to Sunday! That means time to settle in, celebrate with your favourite people before the big day, and soak it all up again with breakfast and stories of the night before the morning after. A whole weekend of love, laughter and memories.

Bore Place offers a magical mix of beauty, sustainability, and meaning.

Ceremony Spaces for your Bore Place Wedding

It’s worth mentioning that most of the ceremony spaces here are beautifully versatile, what begins as a place to say your vows can easily become the backdrop for your drinks reception, live music, or a few games on the lawn.

Your imagination won’t feel boxed in at Bore Place. You’re free to style, arrange, and celebrate in a way that feels completely your own. It’s the kind of venue that works with your ideas and not against them.

The Hide

This beautiful, tucked-away spot is a favourite for outdoor ceremonies—and you can easily see why. With its leafy canopy and natural stillness, it gives off total Midsummer Night’s Dream vibes. Up to 100 guests can be seated on rustic wooden benches, surrounded by trees and birdsong.

As a Bore Place wedding photographer, this is one of my favourite places to capture those first, heart felt moments, it’s romantic and feels like something out of a fairytale.

The Large Barn

The restored 17th-century barn is full of character and endlessly flexible. With its high beams, soft light and generous space, it’s a blank canvas ready to hold whatever kind of celebration feels right to you. Whether that’s something traditional, vintage-inspired, or completely your own.

It comfortably seats up to 100 guests, being big enough to celebrate in, but still full of intimacy.

The Drawing Room

A large traditional room with a stunning fireplace. Overlooking the beautiful lawns. This seats up to 70 guests.

The Studio

A bright panelled room that has direct access to the terrace and large pond in the gardens. This seats up to 50 guests.
